Whole Foods: Harvest Season
Wednesday, September 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Spice up this year’s family gathering and dinner parties to reflect the flavors of the season. Whole Foods Market is back to prepare some fall favorites: pumpkin cream cheese dip with gingersnaps, roasted butternut squash with spinach, and maple apple crisp. Taste first and then take home the recipes. Class is limited to 40 people. Register early!

Make Thanksgiving Day special with a fresh flower centerpiece for your dinner table. Peggy Garvin will bring all you need! $15 supply fee is due at registration. Make checks payable to Garvin Gardens. If you own pruners or strong scissors, that would be helpful. Class is limited to 35 people.

ARTS ALIVE!     CONCERT SERIES

Piano Classics George Radosavljevic

When George plays on our baby grand piano, magic takes hold in the room. This year we will be treated to music by Mozart, Debussy, Liszt, and Chopin, all great world classics. After the concert we’ll celebrate the event with George over coffee, tea, and an assortment of delicious sweets.

Oktoberfest

Yes, the Lustigen Musikanten are back with their boisterous, uplifting music reminiscent of October in Munich where the beer flows while the band plays. We’ll enjoy our own version of fall treats with apple cider and donuts.

Jazz & Java
Midnight Blues - PHS Ensemble
Sunday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m.

Midnight Blues is a high school choral group that began in 2001 as Indigo Jazz. Under the direction of Steve Sivak of Palatine High School, they have performed for the Channel 2 Morning Show and during a Chicago Cubs game. They were invited to sing at the White House last Christmas, and this year during winter break they will perform on a cruise ship. Come and enjoy the voices of these talented local high schoolers!
