The Friends
The Friends of
the Rolling Meadows Library are a group of local residents who enjoy helping the library
prosper and grow. They hold used book sales throughout the year. Through
these sales and other fund-raising activities, they provide support for
the library. If you are a community minded individual and can donate a few
hours now and then, consider joining the Friends.
To Join
If you wish to join, please leave us your name and phone number by
either stopping by the library's Reception Desk or calling at 847-259-6050.
Meetings
The Friends meet at the library at 7:00 P.M. on the second Tuesday of every
month.
Sponsored by the Friends
Every third Tuesday of the month we show an interesting
new movie in the Community Room, free of charge.
The cost of rental and licensing fees are taken care of by the Friends of
the Library. The Friends also sponsor our popular Arts Alive Concert Series,
which begins in September and runs through April.
