The Friends of the Rolling Meadows Library are a group of local residents who enjoy helping the library prosper and grow. They hold used book sales throughout the year. Through these sales and other fund-raising activities, they provide support for the library. If you are a community-minded individual and can donate a few hours now and then, consider joining the Friends!

MeetingsThe Friends meet at the library at 7:00 P.M. on the second Tuesday of every month.
DonationsThe Friends of the Rolling Meadows Library ask for your help to make their book sales successful. Show your community spirit by donating books, CD's, videos, DVD's, tapes, records, sheet music, magazines, and maps in good condition that you no longer want. We take all kinds of material in good condition including children's books, adult fiction, nonfiction, even old records. Drop off your donation at the Welcome Desk in the lobby. Feel free to ask for a receipt for tax purposes.
While always happy to accept your donation of gently used books and other items, the Friends request that you please bring your donations before November 1st or after November 22 to allow them time to process and sort your donation. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
Sponsored by the FriendsA monthly movie is shown every third Tuesday of the month in the library's Community Room, free of charge. The cost of rental and licensing fees are taken care of by the Friends of the Library. The Friends also sponsor our popular Arts Alive Concert Series, which runs year-round. The Friends' Book Shop is located in the library next to the circulation desk. Hard-cover fiction and non-fiction books cost $1. Paperback novels are only 50 cents. The Shop also has children's books for 25 to 50 cents. These books are in great condition with bargain prices every day! Come in and take a look!
