March 1st we’ll celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday.
We’ll have tickets for you, our own honored guests,
from the 15th of February at the Ask Me Desk.
So…If you’re looking for something special to do,
join the Cat in the Hat and Thing One and Thing Two at Seuss’s Birthday Hulabaloo!
Here at the library we’ll be having some fun.

Annual Bookmark Contest for Children’s Book Week
Contest Begins April 1, 2008.
Children’s Book Week is May 12-18, 2008.
You may win a gift certificate to a local bookstore!
Share your creative ideas, promote a favorite book, draw a new cover for your favorite book and become a famous Rolling Meadows artist in the process!
Winning Bookmarks will be printed and handed out to the public during Children’s Book Week: May 12-18, 2008.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-6th and 7th-8th.
Entry forms and materials will be available April 1st, 2008 at the Ask Me Desk.
Designs are due on April 25th, 2008.

Dia de los Niņos

Dia de los Ninos is a celebration of children, families and reading.
Come join us! We’ll have snacks and make a special craft.

This program is a time for the two of you, caregiver and child, to enjoy books, songs, games, & a simple craft.

For children 3 - 5 years including those going into kindergarten. Children should be able to attend without a parent.
