Culinary Conversations

A food-focused book group that meets quarterly, Saturdays at 10 a.m. The next meeting is: September 27, 2014.
Travel with your taste buds or just your eyes, and then come to talk about 101 Classic Cookbooks: 501 recipes by Marvin J. Taylor, Clark Taylor, and the Fales Library at New York University. Covering 1896-1999, this ambitious book includes facsimile pages of the earlier works and provides an essay on each inclusion. A grand overview of the century, the focus here is on books published in the United States and their impact on the country. The latter half contains the selection of recipes listed in the subtitle.

Book Club Kits

Book Club Kits contain multiple copies of books and questions that can be checked out for your discussion group. The library also has suggestions for books of interest to book clubs.
