Listed below are some of the library's recently added titles to the Teen Scene as well as some suggestions for titles that you might enjoy based on categories or related authors.

Audiobook Sync

This is the third summer that we are participating in the Audiobook Sync program! In the Teen Scene, there are bookmarks and a poster with this year's titles. If you are new to AudioSync, it is a free program that offers two free downloads a week from May 7th until August 13th. One book is a classic and the other is a newer teen fiction book. You can also get alerts sent to your cellphone with reminders to download. The program is free to use. It's a great way to take books with you wherever you go this summer! Malala Yousafzai is the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize. This young woman proves that one person can truly change the world! Pick up I Am Malala and read about her passionate fight for girls' education.



Into the Woods is Disney's modern twist of several Grimm fairy tales; Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack and the Beanstalk. It's quite an enjoyable journey!



As we gear up for the final installment of Mockingjay Part 2 this fall, pick up the original movie score from Mockingjay Part 1, and listen to Jennifer Lawrence's haunting song The Hanging Tree.
