Book Bouquets

Details Turn old book pages into beautiful paper roses! Learn how to fold, twist, and shape your pages into a stunning floral creation. Make a single bloom or a whole bouquet and your upcycled roses will be the perfect gift or decoration. Bring an old book or use the materials provided.

Therapy Dogs & Teens

Details Reset after a long school year by unwinding with friendly therapy dogs from the Masonic Association of Service and Therapy Dogs (MAST).

Reading Challenges

Get ready to read and win. Reading challenges are open to readers in 9th grade and up. Any reader from PreK to 8th grade can join Youth Reading Challenges.

Teen Craft Kits

New seasonal craft kits are available every month for Rolling Meadows residents ages 13+. Pick up at the Readers Services Desk beginning the first of every month.

The crafts can be enjoyed at home or in the library using supplies from the Art Cart. You’ll find directions, resources, and basic materials in each kit. Advanced crafters are encouraged to use materials they have at home to take them even further.
